No matter what kind of entertainment you like, you can find it at the opera. From theater, opera draws its use of character, scene, and act, and not infrequently, its actual plot-many opera stories have been adapted from successful plays. For the second in a 2 part series, Chad Calvert, Resident Stage Director, will lead a discussion on what it takes to bring opera to the stage. From costumes and staging to sets and the different vocal parts including why opera singers don’t use mics! Food & Drinks will be provided. To RSVP please email Natalija Martijan.
