On behalf of Charlotte City Club Member, Sarah Dockery and Friends of the Opera, you are cordially invited to dinner at the Charlotte City Club prior to the performance of Mozart's Così fan tutte or The School for Lovers at the Belk Theater. This event is open to members and non-members of the Charlotte City Club. This special dinner will offer a three-course meal and one Grand Tier ticket for Così fan tutte (10/16 performance). The menu selection is as follows (select one from each course): Soups, Salads, & Appetizers Minestrone Napoletana - traditional neapolitan soup with pasta, canelinis, spinach & pecorino Classic Caesar Salad with parmesan, garlic, anchovy olive oil, lemon & black pepper Grilled Vegetables with Mozzarella served with basil, balsamic reduction and extra virgin olive oil vinaigrette Entrees Risotto alla Dorabella with with sea scallops, asparagus, roasted tomato & basil oil Pollo alla Fiordiligi, a roast breast of chicken with fontina polenta, forest mushrooms, fennel and red pepper jus Braciola di Manzo Ferrando, a scallopine of beef rolled with mozzarella, roasted fennel and grilled eggplant, served over roasted garlic mashed potatoes with sangiovese sauce Dessert Castagnaccio (Chestnut cake with lemon sauce) Cassata Siciliana (Sicilian chocolate wedding cake with orange & pistachio) If you have already purchased your ticket for the Oct. 16 performance of Così, the cost for the three-course meal at the Charlotte City Club is only $35.00 (exclusive of beverages, taxes and gratuities). If you have not purchased your ticket, the cost will be $112 (exclusive of beverages, taxes and gratuities) and will include the three-course meal and one ticket in the Grand Tier section.
