Established in 2005 as a separate corporation from Opera Carolina, the Opera Carolina Endowment is governed and managed by an independent five-member Board of Directors. The sole and expressed purpose of the corporation is to support the ongoing educational and cultural activities of Opera Carolina.
The Case
Throughout the history of western civilization, the arts have flourished thanks to the patronage of individuals who have shared their passion for the arts with others. The great works of Mozart, Verdi and Wagner were created with the support of the European nobility. In America, it falls to citizens to ensure that the arts will flourish from generation to generation.
Whether your company chooses to sponsor a mainstage production, an outreach performance or production, or one of our award-winning educational programs, Opera Carolina offers effective ways to build your profile in the Carolinas.
