An undeniable natural talent, Ms. Caitlin Lynch is one of the most promising young sopranos on the cusp of a prominent career. Winner of the Irma M. Cooper Opera Columbus Competition in 2006, she is noted in signature roles including Pamina in Die Zauberflöte, Leila in Les Pêcheurs de Perles, Musetta in La boheme, Countess in Le nozze di Figaro, Donna Anna and Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni, among many others. Upcoming, Ms. Lynch will perform Une Ombre Heureuse in Orphée et Eurydice and Ninfa/Euridice (cover) in L'Orfeo with Glimmerglass Opera, Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni with Opera Carolina, Countess in Le nozze di Figaro with Michigan Opera Theatre and Opera Lyra Ottawa, Alice Ford in Falstaff with the Seattle YAP, among several concert engagements. Currently a young artist with the Seattle Opera, she has performed the role of Micaela in Carmen in the past season with much success. Other recent performances include Oasis in L'Etoile with the Cincinnati Opera, Pamina in The Magic Flute, as well as Donna Anna in Don Giovanni, Ginevra in Ariodante and Philippa in Babette's Feast with the University of Cincinnati CCM, which The Cincinnati Enquirer said was "engaging and sweet." She also performed opera scene performances with CCM as Gilda in Rigoletto and the title role in Arabella.
