Colm Fitzmaurice

Colm has performed numerous operatic roles including: Tamino in Die Zauberflöte, Ferrando in Cosí fan tutte, Count Almaviva in Il Barbiere di Siviglia, Valére in Tartuffe, Don Ramiro in La Cenerentola, Lenski in Eugene Onegin, Anatol in Vanessa, Nanki-Poo in The Mikado, Frederic in The Pirates of Penzance, Ralph Rackstraw in H.M.S. Pinafore, and Marco in The Gondoliers. Colm has appeared many times as a concert soloist. His expansive repertoire includes Bach’s Cantatas 130 and 80, Mozart’s Requiem, Handel’s Messiah, and Stravinsky’s Renard. Colm has participated in many training programs including programs with Central City Opera, Pittsburgh Opera Center and Indianapolis Opera Ensemble. He has also studied with Isabel Penagos and Margaret Schaper. In 2005, Colm was awarded the Lee Dougherty Ross Debut Artist Award (Milwaukee Skylight Opera).
