Opera Carolina Auditions
Charlotte, NC (February 10, 2006) - Opera Carolina will hold Auditions on Saturday, March 11 in Charlotte, NC. The auditions will run from 11 am to 5 pm at the Belk Theater in the NC Blumenthal Performing Arts Center. Auditions will be held by appointment only.
Opera Carolina will be casting for principal and featured Mainstage roles in upcoming seasons, as well as for the 2006-2007 Young Artist Program.
Interested singers should prepare a minimum of three (3) operatic arias in contrasting styles and languages. Singers auditioning for the Young Artist program must also include one aria in English. An accompanist will be provided, but singers are welcome to bring their own. All singers should also provide a recent headshot and resume.
