Cinderella: A delectable fairytale
Charlotte, NC (February 8, 2006) - This popular opera dinner's season finale highlights Opera Carolina's March 9-12, 2006 production of Cinderella. On February 19, 2006, Opera Carolina and Blue Restaurant & Bar present a wonderful combination of fine cuisine, wine and opera music in a unique and dynamic setting. Learn about opera music from top performers, while enjoying a specially created five-course meal by Blue Executive Chef, Gene Briggs. Several artists from Opera Carolina will perform selections from the upcoming opera, Cinderella, plus other well-known opera favorites, with a special appearance by local jazz vocalist Kim Carper. The event begins at 6:30 pm with a champagne reception.
