Opera Carolina’s Annual Golf Tournament has raised more than $250,000 since our first Tournament at The Point Lake and Golf Club in 2003. The Tournament has been a great way for business professionals to network, entertain clients and support the education and artistic programs of one of Charlotte’s cultural jewels, all at the same time.
In 2009, we relocate our Tournament to The Club at Longview— a Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course. Recently ranked best golf course in Charlotte by Golf Digest Magazine and #11 in North Carolina, The Club at Longview is a 20-minute drive from uptown Charlotte and offers the perfect setting to continue playing exemplary golf in support of Opera Carolina.
Players receive lunch on the course, 19th Hole Awards & Banquet reception, a gift bag, and opportunities to win a variety of contests and prizes. Contest and Hole sponsorship opportunities are available from $500 to $5,000. The fee for a foursome is $2,500 and a single player is $650.
