Master Class with Denyce Graves

Event description: Opera Carolina and Johnson C. Smith University presents a Master Class with Opera sensation Denyce Graves. This special event will take place on stage at the Belk Theater on Sunday, October 16 at 3pm.

A Master Class features an acclaimed artist in an informal setting whereby the artist provides on-on-one instruction to selected students. In this case, opera star Denyce Graves, mezzo-soprano, will work with voice students from regional colleges and universities on opera repertoire, interpretation, performance and style.
