Event description: Opera Carolina Academy invites the public to attend a Master Class on the final day of the 2011 Second Annual Summer Music-Drama Workshop. Led by internationally recognized Metropolitan Opera Baritone Mark Rucker, the class is part of
Opera Carolina Academy's week-long, music-drama workshop featuring hands-on instruction, coaching and training for young singing actors by highly talented, professional artists.

The summer workshop, in collaboration with Community School of the Arts, and underwritten by Duke Energy’s Power of Music, is one way in which Opera Carolina delivers arts education to young people in the Charlotte region.
