Opera Carolina's Bella Notte 2009
Where: North Carolina Blumenthal Performing Arts Center, Belk Theater
Event description: Opera Carolina's black tie season opening event, Bella Notte is recognized as setting a new standard for gala entertaining. The elegantly festive evening begins with cocktails, and continues as guests are moved to the Belk Theatre stage for dinner, a guest performance, and dancing. Save the Dates are extended to prominent leaders of Charlotte's civic and philanthropic community, and Opera Carolina patrons at the Benefactor and above level.
The 2009 gala will be the Opera's 5th, featuring Grammy Award winning Steve Tyrell in performance, followed by dancing. French Southern fare will be served by the well-known Jack Brantley of Camden, South Carolina. Gala stage design by John Lupton.
