What is Music! Words! Opera! (MWO) Teacher Training?

Opera Carolina, with assistance from OPERA America, provides a weeklong training session for new and returning MWO teacher participants. Held in a local venue, teachers work with nationally acclaimed trainers to learn, understand, and create.

Opera Carolina provides teacher manuals, videos, and other materials that teachers will use with their students throughout the yearlong program.

Teacher Training: 30 hours (summer)

Curriculum supports learning standards in Music and English Language Arts

Target grade levels: K–5, 6–8
