Summer Camp

Opera Summer Camp provides students the opportunity to learn about opera from Opera Carolina professionals. These artists introduce the students to the fundamentals of singing, staging, composition, costumes, and sets. The students also work cooperatively to create an original opera that is presented to their parents and friends at the conclusion of the camp. Opera Carolina annually partners with a local community group.

Annual Partners

Students work with Opera Carolina artists to learn about the basics of opera and to create and produce an original opera. Family, friends, and local leaders celebrate the participantsÕ hard work when they attend the performance of the final production.
