Meet the Artist

Opera Carolina works to create opportunities for our artists to perform at various events in many different venues. Through our relationships with individuals and groups, we plan events that increase awareness of Opera Carolina as a partner in building a better community. We encourage our partners to dialogue with us about their specific interests and needs so that we can help each other.

  • Opera Carolina works with diverse community groups to bring artists to their constituents
  • Partners have included 100 Black Men, the Urban League, the Jewish Community Center, Johnson C. Smith University, the Korean Presbyterian Church of Charlotte, the Museum of the New South, the Afro-American Cultural Center, Clara Jones Piano Studio, First Baptist Church West, Gethsemane AME Zion Church, and others
